Pie Night comic

This is an annual event that’s been happening for nearly 40 years. It was formerly staged at the now defunct Liberty Grange on Hwy 66 in Weld County, organized and attended by folks mostly from Boulder and Weld Counties. This will be its second year at Altona Grange Hall.

All kinds of pies are welcome; dessert, savory or specialties. Please make a note (we’ll have cards available) listing your ingredients, in particular any allergens such as dairy, gluten, shellfish, eggs, etc. Without a note, it will be assumed the pie has allergens of some kind. If you can bring a spatula/server for your pie, please do, maybe with your name on it.

As tradition, once we have eaten all the pie we can, those who’ve brought instruments we’ll clean up some and set up to have a musician jam, on the folk/bluegrass/old-time side of things. Non-pickers won’t be banished to the basement for dishwashing, we’ll do ’em afterwards.

Children, friends and family are welcome, of course. Please no pets. If you have later plans, we’ll be done and cleaned up by about 9:30 pm. We will “let pie gones be pie gones.”

We need help setting up. If you can help please arrive by 4:30. We’ll also need some help cleaning up afterwards. We’ll provide, plates, forks, spoons, water and soda, coffee and tea.

Please RSVP with a yes, no, or maybe to Charlie at 303.815.2654 (text or call) or charlie@papazian.org
